What we collect, why, who else handles it, and how to have it deleted. Last updated 8 October 2026.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email, phone if you give one, delivery address, any note, and what you bought. PayPal takes the payment — we never see your card.
- When you join the email list: your email address.
- When you contact us: your name, email and message.
- To stop spam: a scrambled form of your internet address when you sign up, contact us or ask for your order links. It can't be turned back into the address.
No analytics, no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels. Your cart is kept in your own browser until you check out. Our emails record whether they were opened; links in them aren't tracked.
What we do with it
Build, ship and support your order, answer your messages, and send the emails you signed up for. We don't sell your information or share it for anyone else's marketing.
Who else handles it
- Hotlap (Japan) — gets your name, delivery address and order so they can build and ship it.
- Japan Post (EMS) or DHL — your name, address and phone, to deliver it.
- PayPal — takes your payment.
- Vercel — hosts this website.
- Supabase — stores our database.
- Backblaze — stores our nightly backups.
- Resend — sends our emails.
- Cloudflare — checks forms are sent by a person, not a bot.
Some of these are outside your country, so your information may be handled abroad.
How long we keep it
- Orders: as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- A checkout you never paid for: deleted after a day (a week if a payment was still pending).
- Email list: until you unsubscribe — tap Unsubscribe next to our name in your email app, or email us.
- Messages: kept with our other customer emails.
- Requests for your order links: deleted after 30 days.
- Backups: each one is deleted after 15 days.
Your rights
